The Japan Center for NPO Evaluation was created in 2016.
The Japan Center for NPO Evaluation joined the network in 2017. The aim was to maintain the credibility of our organization by building relationships and exchanging information with the members of CMW.
The Japan Center for NPO Evaluation mission is to provide society with reliable evaluation information in order to improve the credibility of charities in Japan, and to create a system for various types of support for charities.
It´s the Japan’s first accreditation organization for charities in any fields by running two types of programs: the Basic Governance Check and the Good Governance Accreditation. By the end of 2023, over 1000 of charities have received Basic Governance Check and cumulative 100 charities have received Good Governance Accreditation.
