Fundacion Lealtad was established in 2001.
The incorporation of Lealtad Foundation into CMW in 2009 sought to exchange information and experiences on the analysis of NGOs, the management of the NGO sector and the profile of donors in each of the member countries, with entities with which the Foundation shares a same objective: to offer donors from different countries sufficient and appropriate information to make decisions about collaboration with NGOs.
For Lealtad Foundation, a pioneer in this field in Spain, it is very important to have international partners with extensive experience to accompany it in introducing innovations in its work to face future challenges posed by donors.
Fundacion Lealtad is an independent evaluator aimed at fostering trust in the NGO sector among donors and Spanish society at large in order to increase donations and other types of collaborations.
Fundacion Lealtad have developed the first NGO monitoring methodology in Spain based on a series of standards of transparency and best practices.
